Undergraduate Transfer Credit

San Diego State University accepts transfer coursework from regionally accredited colleges and universities, provided the coursework is at the baccalaureate level at the institution where it was completed. Some courses may fulfill specific requirements in General Education or the major. Transferable courses that do not meet specific requirements will be accepted as elective credits.

Evaluation of Courses

Students must submit official transcripts for evaluation of courses taken outside SDSU. Official transcripts must be sent directly to SDSU from the institution. SDSU will not accept hand-delivered transcripts.

SDSU will accept only electronic transcripts from the schools listed on the Transcripts web page. Please ensure that you indicate this preference when making your request.
